Biography

My name is Caitlin Ceppaglia and I am currently attending Rider University. My major is elementary education and dance. I am working towards a dance certificate to be able to teach dance in elementary schools. I have been dancing since I was 2 years old and am still dancing . I have been trained in jazz, ballet, modern, pointe, and hip hop. I am most interested in modern and ballet dance. These forms of dance will bring me further along in my career aspirations because they are the basis of all other dance styles. I danced competitively for 8 years and received many awards and overall achievements. I enjoy working with children and have experience in the field. My senior year in high school I went to a 4th grade class in my elementary school and taught learning disabled children math and reading. This was an extremely rewarding experience for me and I will always remember it. Dancing and teaching are both my passions and I would love to incorporate both into my career.
